Honest repairs since 1990

The same name on the sign since 1990, and the same idea behind it. Find the real problem, explain it plainly, charge a fair price.

Started by
Don King in 1990

King’s Automotive started as Don King’s shop on Cyrville Road. The idea was simple: be the mechanic people trust, charge fairly, and do the job right the first time.

Over the years that meant a lot of loyal customers, a reputation for diagnostics, alignments and air conditioning, and even a King’s hockey team. When the shop outgrew Cyrville Road, it moved a few minutes away to a bigger, cleaner space at 1515 Lagan Way. The phone number never changed.

Runs the towing side. Call or text him at (613) 276-4714 when a car will not make it in on its own.

How we work

  • We call before we fix

You get the diagnosis and the price first. Nothing happens without your okay.

  • We tell you what can wait

If your rear brakes have another year in them, we say so.

  • We show you

Ask to see the old parts and we will walk you through why they came off.

  • We keep records

Every visit goes on your car’s history, which helps the next repair and helps when you sell.
